There is a car and cycle park behind the surgery accessed from Nigle Fisher Way.
We are on bus routes 465, 467 and K4 (Merritt Health Centre stop). The 71 also stops close by (Mansfield Road stop).

If you need to speak to a doctor out of hours when the surgery is closed, ring the usual number and you will automatically be put through to Kingston Health on Call.

Hook Surgery is a teaching practice. We feel we have a duty to make sure that there are good doctors and nurses for the future. We currently have links with St. George's Medical School, and teach medical students in the practice. We also sometimes have nursing students. If a student is present there will be a notice up on that day. If you wish to see the doctor or nurse without the student, please say so, the student will leave, and the consultation will go on as normal.

Thank you to all our patients who took part in our recent survey. The results can be downloaded here: Patient Survey Results

Hook Surgery would like to apologise that it was not possible to book appointments online following our change to the EMISWeb system. We are delighted to say that this service has now been restored. We are also aware that the online prescription ordering system has sometimes had erratic availability due to problems beyond our control. However, we believe that this service is now working reliably. If you are registered for either of these services and experience difficulties please let the Surgery know.

We are reintroducing a service of sending text reminders for appointments. If you would like to sign up for this service, please contact reception.
