  • During the time the practice is closed between 1pm – 2pm our phone lines remain open for medical emergencies.
The Practice has done it’s utmost to be easily accessible and user-friendly for our disabled and wheelchair-bound patients. There is a ramp at the entrance to the surgery to aid wheelchair access and disabled toilet facilities are also available.
If you do experience any particular problems, please speak to a member of our Reception Team, who will do their utmost to assist you.
 
The practice provides the following facilities for our disabled patients:
Intercom System – There is an intercom at the front door in the event that you require assistance to enter the building.
Automated Door Openers – There is a automatic main door and a push button internal door to automatically open.
Doorway Widths – Every doorway is wheelchair accessible.
Wheelchair – if you would benefit from use of the practice wheelchair, to or from your car into the practice, please ask one of the reception team and they will make this available to you. Although please bear in mind that they cannot help you into the wheelchair.
Stairs & Lift – For access to our upstairs consultation rooms.
Hearing Loop – An induction loop is available to help the hard of hearing have clearer conversations.
Patient Toilet – Which is wheelchair accessible.

Extended Hours Primary Care Service provides additional appointments for Kingston residents between the hours of 6.30pm – 20.00pm Monday to Friday plus 08.00am – 20.00pm on Saturdays.

The clinicians in these hubs will have full access to your medical records and are able to treat minor illnesses and injuries that would normally be seen at a GP practice.

This includes:
– Minor illness such as headaches, dizziness, high temperatures and severe ‘flu-like’ symptoms and hayfever
– Minor cuts, bruises, burns and scalds
– Strains and sprains
– Minor infections including ear, nose and throat
– Abdominal pain
– Dermatology and skin complaints
– Urgent prescription medicines

It excludes:
– Conditions that warrant immediate direction to A&E such as chest pain and severe shortness of breath
– Any pregnancy related issue
– Exacerbations of long term conditions
– Dental emergencies
– Mental health emergencies
– Follow up appointments
