Hook Surgery is a teaching practice. We feel we have a duty to make sure that there are good doctors and nurses for the future. We currently have links with St. George's Medical School, and teach medical students in the practice. We also sometimes have nursing students.

If a student is present there will be a notice up on that day. If you wish to see the doctor or nurse without the student, please say so, the student will leave, and the consultation will go on as normal.
